This is a 15 piece mouldso we sandwich some partsinside a larger casewhich registers the pieces.The head is a 5 piece mould.the body is an 8 piece mould.All assembled ready to cast.Porcelain slip fills the mouldand after a little while is emptied.The individual parts are removedvery carefullywaste is trimmed.The body removedand everything is readyto be assembled as a clay piece.Arms, tray and cup are attached,as well as the head.The final sculpture ready to fire.
